I met Reba in 2012--she was a freshman at LCU when I was a senior and she was my floor sister. Her name is Rebecca but the nickname, Reba, stuck after her roommate gave it to her. :) We went on a mission trip to England together and I always enjoyed the time I spent with her. She is one of the sweetest, most sincere women I have ever met and I'm so excited for what God has in store for her.

Reba studied missions and spiritual formation at Lincoln Christian University and is going to be a teacher of missionary children. She describes herself as an encourager (and I completely agree!). A lot of people don't know that throughout high school, Reba's plan was to go to an art college before she switched to study missions. Something this girl can't live without is being outdoors and in the country-she lives living on the edge of town. Her favorite food is citrus-flavored anything, cheese, and sugary goodies. Some of the most challenging things she has faced has been enduring through broken relationships and attempting reconciliation. She lives by John 17:3, Psalm 27:13-14, and a quote from the book, Anne of Aronlea. It says, "She held over him the unconscious influence that every girl, whose ideals are high and pure, wields over her friends; an influence that would endure as long as she was faithful to those ideals and which she would certainly lose if ever she were false to them."

Thank you, Reba, for letting me take your headshots to use for PBT. I'm so happy for you and excited to see how God is going to use you in this new adventure.
